South Carolina Highway Patrol said a driver has died after a crash in Greenville County.

Troopers said it happened just before 9 p.m. Saturday on Rutherford Road, near Mooney Road.

They said a car was traveling north on Rutherford Road, went off the left side of the road and hit a concrete barrier.

The driver was taken to the hospital, but later died.

The coroner has identified the driver as Arnold Victor Capers, 59.
